February Favourites

Hi everyone! I’m back with another favourites post and I’m giving myself a round of applause because I think this is the first time ever that I’ve got a favourites post up on time! I hope you all had a good February and carry on reading to find out what I’ve been loving this month!

Benefit High Beam

Benefit’s High Beam is one of the products that I’ve been using quite a lot this month. I’d kind of forgotten about it but I’ve been really liking using it with concealer and powder to just get a healthy glow and for layering under powder highlight to make my makeup last longer.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara Waterproof

I think this has got to be my favourite mascara of all time. I love the original Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara but I found that it could go a bit flakey so when mine ran out I decided to try the waterproof one and I love it! It doesn’t go flakey and I loveee the packaging!

Still Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick ~ Perla

I was so excited when I got this mini Stila liquid lipstick in my advent calendar because I’ve always wanted to try one and this ones a mini, which means that I get to save my money and I can try it out first. It’s in the shade ‘Perla’ and it’s a really gorgeous colour. Although it dries matte, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable on the lips, which is good. I’ve been loving layering this Pixi lip gloss over the top as well because it just gives s really pretty sheen.

Pixi LipLift Max ~ Honey Sheen

This Pixi lip gloss in the shade ‘Honey Sheen’ is another thing that I got in my advent calendar and I was really pleased because I’ve never tried any Pixi products before (their Glow Tonic looks amazing!). On their website it’s described as a peptide-infused lip plumper that nourishes as it enhances. It’s quite a sheer colour but it has gorgeous subtle sparkles in it. It’s also not uncomfortable to wear, like some other plumping lip glosses. It just feels a little tingly and it tastes like mint too!

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

I’m definitely ‘quite late to the bandwagon’ (is that the saying? I can’t remember) on this one but it was definitely worth the wait! I asked for this for Christmas after seeing it all over Youtube and Instagram and it’s honestly so good. It makes spots go away so much faster and it even works for any under the skin. I think this product has definitely improved my skin recently and it’s definitely worth the money.

Zebra Mildliners ~ Pink Pack

These Zebra Mildliners are another product that I’d been seeing all over Instagram and Youtube and I decided to get some for myself. If you don’t know what these are, they’re double-ended highlighters – one end has the highlighter and the other end has a small felt tip pen but they’re both the same colour. I decided to get the pink pack and I love them! They’re so useful for revision or flashcards and I think I’m going to have to get another pack, but I just can’t choose between the blue or the yellow!

Chaos_and_the_Calm

One last thing that I’ve been loving this month is James Bay’s album ‘Chaos and the Calm’. I decided to buy this album after looking for some new music and I’ve been listening to this non-stop this month. I think he’s a really talented singer and his songs are really good!

That’s all for today! I really want to start doing some blog posts that I haven’t done before, maybe some more lifestyle posts, so please leave and ideas in the comments! What was your favourite thing about this month?

  1. The dupe for better than sex mascara (lash paradise – maybelline) is just as good/the same quality as the too faced product!💖 —https://emilyryannblogblog.wordpress.com/2018/02/25/wedding-photography-tips-what-i-am-doing/
