Christmas Eve Pamper Routine

I just started writing this post but I decided to rewrite it because it all sounded too perfect. When I have a pamper evening, which normally just consists of me having a bath,  I normally end up turning the taps on to run a bath and then going off to do something else while I’m waiting for my bath to run, and then come back to find that I’m nearly overflowing the bath and the water is either too hot or too cold! Then I realise that I’ve forgotten to light a candle, so while I’m trying to decide what candle to light and what bath bombs to use, the water just gets colder!

But sometimes I do have a nice relaxing evening where my bath is actually the right temperature and I can just relax and unwind. So I thought that I would do a post on how I like to unwind and some of the products that I’ll be using on Christmas Eve.

First of all, I’ll start off by running a bath and I’ll use some sort of bubble bath like the Lush Magic Wand Bubble Bar. While my bath’s running I’ll probably take my makeup off and then use my L’Oréal Cleaning Milk just to make sure that there are no traces of makeup left on my face. When I’m done, I normally like to add something extra in my bath like a bath bomb or a bath melt. On Christmas Eve I’m going to use the Father Christmas bath bomb because I’ve never tried this before and it smells really nice!

Once all of my makeup is off I like to put a face mask on. On Christmas Day I want to wake up with my skin looking hydrated and glowy so I’ve picked up this Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask. I love the Garnier sheet masks but I’ve never tried this one before so I can’t wait to see what this is like. I also like to use a lip scrub so on Christmas Eve I’ll be using the Lush Sugar Plum Fairy lip scrub because it works really well, it smells amazing, and it’s really Christmassy!

When I’m in the bath I love to read a book and just relax. I’ll also wash my body with Lush’s Snow Fairy shower gel and I’ll use my Soap & Glory body scrub (which smells amazing!)

When I’m out of the bath, I’ll take my face mask off and I’ll wash my face with my L’Oréal face wash. I’ll also use a face scrub to make my face super soft.

Then, I like to use the L’Oréal Fine Flowers Toner and then moisturise my face, and I also like to moisturise my body with a Soap & Glory body butter.

In the evening, I will probably then sit down and watch tv or a Christmas film and I might do something else like paint my nails (if I haven’t already) so that they’re ready for Christmas Day.

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a happy new year!

  1. Even though Christmas is well and truly over (sigh!) I really enjoyed reading this. I always love reading pamper night routines ☺️ I’m always quite lucky with bath temperatures and I love Snow Fairy 😍 I had a litre bottle of it and it lasted me all of 2017!
