Hi everyone! June seems to have gone by so quickly, but then so has the whole year. I know that the 5th of July is a bit late to post June Favourites, but it’s better late than never! Monthly Favourites are some of my favourites videos on Youtube, so I’ve decided that I would like to do them every month on my blog.
Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Moisturiser
My first favourite this month is this moisturiser by Vaseline. As it’s started to (finally!) get hotter in the UK and it’s getting closer to summer, I’ve been wanting to take care the appearance of my body more. When you’re wearing summer shorts and and other summer clothes, I think it’s better to have glowing, moisturised skin than dry skin. I love this moisturiser because it absorbs into your skin quickly, it isn’t greasy and it smells delicious!
Victoria’s Secret PINK Body Mist (Fresh and Clean)
I bought this spray at the end of May because I wanted a small body spray to fit in my school bag and the big ones don’t really fit with all of my other stuff. These mini sprays are so handy to stick in your bag because they don’t take up too much space (this one fits perfectly in one of the side pockets)! I have used this nearly every day in June on school days.
Barry M ‘So Cute-icle!’ Cuticle oil
At the beginning of June, my Nan got a cuticle oil by Sally Hansen. So I tried it and it was so good! It really moisturised my cuticles and my nails and then I realised that this was one of the things that I had never thought of buying but would actually be really beneficial. My cuticles are always dry and broken so I decided to buy my own cuticle oil, but I decided to try this Barry M one because it was half the price. Personally, I don’t think that this one is as good as the Sally Hansen one, but it still works and it smells like coconuts!
Nivea 3 in 1 Gentle Cleansing Wipes (For Dry Skin)
I always use Simple face wipes, but my face wash and face creams are by Nivea so I decided to try out some of their makeup wipes when I had run out of my Simple ones. I’ve only used these a few times, but so far I really like them! They contain Natural Almond Oil and the wipes feel really soft on your face. The also leave your face feeling smooth and moisturised unlike some other face wipes that can leave your face feeling quite dry and tight. They claim to remove waterproof makeup, but I don’t think that this is 100% true. I wear waterproof mascara everyday and I felt they didn’t completely remove all of my mascara (unlike their waterproof eye makeup remover).
Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser
I used this moisturiser a lot a the beginning of June because it feels light on your skin and doesn’t look or feel greasy. I have the travel size version, so it’s nearly run out now but I think that it would be better to buy the larger version in the winter because this doesn’t contain SPF.
Benefit Triple Performing Moisturiser
Benefit’s Triple Performing moisturiser is the second moisturiser that I’ve been loving this month. I got this mini version for Christmas so I don’t use it very often because I don’t want it to run out too quickly. I really like this moisturiser because it’s not greasy and it has SPF 15. I don’t think I’ll buy the full size version when this has run out though, because it’s quite expensive!
I hope that you all have a lovely month of July! Also, I have recently been nominated for the Liebster Award by Anya’s Journey which I am so greatful for, so hopefully that post will be up soon.
